Welcome to the new website for this very exciting and special project. Our dear friends Cornelius ‘Kees’ Brenninkmeyer and Claire Dixon passed away on the Wapta Traverse in 2007, in the mountains doing what they loved. Loved by many, and always bursting with joy and enthusiasm, this adventurous couple won’t be forgotten, and will certainly be missed.

To celebrate their life together in BC’s mountains, we are setting out on the Kees & Claire Memorial Hut Project, to raise funds and gather collective knowledge and efforts to build a spectacular, beautiful, and practical ski touring and mountaineering hut in their honour, in the Coast Mountain Range for everyone to enjoy.
