Fun Times at the Lake Cabin

The Hut Crew, aka friends of Kees & Claire, just returned from an amazing weekend at the Dixon's (Claire's family) cabin at Allison Lake. Claire's parents Mark & Susan were absolutely amazing hosts, first for even daring to invite 20 people to their cabin, and then for following up with amazing food and hospitality.

The weekend was a awesome opportunity for everyone to get to know each other better, and to visit the Dixon's under happier circumstances.

Gourmet pulled pork out of the 'Green Egg', home-made ice cream, campfires, smores, water skiing, wakeboarding, and even a couple water-ski-human-pyramids! Not bad for a bunch of first timers. Stay tuned for the video.

We also got a chance to chat more about the hut plans at the campfire. We're keen for a new blitz of research into potential hut locations, and now with the website spreading around we're excited to see how donations pick up.
