Spring 2009 Updates

Spring is here, and we're keener than ever to make this project become a reality. Despite the pathetic snowfall earlier this season, we've all had an amazing mix of resort and backcountry skiing, and are more pumped than ever to build a memorial ski touring hut for Kees and Claire, allowing us to share their passion for the mountains with more people in future.

What's new? Lots. We've got some better leads on locations, and will be pursuing those to the best of our ability. We also have new groups interested in lending a hand in the process, be it help approving the project, building materials, or spreading the word. There's lots of interest for some new huts in South Western British Columbia, we're just keen to address everyone's needs and make it happen.

Thanks to everyone who made online donations this winter, as well as all the participants at the Planker Wanker Ball down south in Colorado.

Stay tuned for a less 'airy fairy' update as details come in. Long story short, we'll still working on this actively, and are plenty excited. Hope you are too!
