Hut Meeting and Fun at Claire's Family Lake Cabin

We all just got back from an amazing weekend at Claire's family's cabin on Allison Lake near Merritt, BC. Heat, more heat, some thunder showers, more heat, awesome food, and of course awesome Dixon hospitality from Mark, Susan, Paul & Jill.

Oh, and of course some wakeboarding, barefooting, and the annual amateur water ski human pyramid!

And with almost the entire memorial hut society together, we had a great chance to get a status update on the project.

The cole's notes? Well, we've got some bold location ideas, right in the Whistler area. It really seems like some good groundswell is brewing for the project. Have had great recent meetings and discussions with ACC, BCMC, WAGB, Whistler Blackcomb, and the occasional question to BC Parks, trying to rally all our knowledge and resources together for a hut proposal and plan like none other.
